A confession: We’ve been testing beauty products for decades, so our reaction to many things that arrive at the Oprah Daily headquarters is “Been there, tried that.” In other words, it takes a lot to get us excited about a new face serum, lipstick, or hair conditioner. But this was a banner year. Among the usual ho-hum offerings we discovered 115 honest-to-god innovations: real head-turning, you’ve-gotta-smell-this gems, with formulas that noticeably transformed our skin and hair, and shades and textures that awakened our eyes, cheeks, and lips.
