I was about 10 years old when I showed my hairstylist a photo of Jennifer Aniston and asked if she could mimic the actress’ angles and layers on my light brown, wavy hair. I’m not sure why Aniston was my hair inspiration—I was too young to know her Friends character, Rachel Green, or her iconic hairdos. Yet there I was, longing for Jen-approved hair.
