Jennifer Aniston has spent decades answering questions about her hair—the styles, the shine, the cultural moment that never quite ended. As the all-around icon heads into the new year, she’s turning the conversation to something most people don’t think about: the scalp. The timing coincides with the launch of LolaVie’s Let There Be Hair Scalp Serum ($49), marking her hair-care brand’s biggest move yet into dedicated scalp care.

For Aniston, the launch feels both personal and a bit overdue. “What we don’t realize is that healthy hair starts with our scalp,” she explains. “This is something that has been brought to my attention in the last couple of years, which is why we’ve made our scalp scrub and then, of course, the serum. It’s just as important to take care of our scalp as it is our face and our bodies and all of the skin, all over the body.” 

She says the formula came together slowly, but notes that was by design. “It took us some time to get it right, but it’s been worth the wait because we love it. It’s our new favorite.”
